Terms of Service
This is a stub document covering the essentials. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to the terms below. The operator may update them; material changes will be announced on the front page before they take effect.
1. Licensing of contributions
Anything you upload, edit, or otherwise contribute to this site — filament profiles, descriptions, comments, edits to existing profiles — is licensed by you to the public under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). You retain copyright in your contributions; the AGPL grant is non-exclusive and irrevocable.
Concretely: anyone may view, copy, redistribute, and modify your profiles under AGPL terms (which include source-availability obligations for derivative network services). If you don't want that, don't upload.
2. Software licensing
The site software is also licensed AGPL-3.0. The running version's source is linked from the footer of every page. You're free to run your own copy.
3. Default profiles
Default profiles imported from upstream AGPL-licensed slicer projects are owned by their respective upstream projects under that project's license, not yours and not ours. The current set of upstream sources is:
- Bambu Studio
- OrcaSlicer
- PrusaSlicer
- QIDISlicer
- ElegooSlicer
- Anycubic Slicer Next
- PhrozenOrca
- SuperSlicer
- Snapmaker Orca
- Creality Print
- Orca-Flashforge
- FlsunSlicer
The list grows as new AGPL-licensed slicer forks ship public profile catalogs. Forks under non-AGPL terms (e.g. Cura's GUI under LGPL-3.0) are intentionally excluded.
4. G-code is dangerous
Filament profiles can carry G-code that runs on your printer. Profiles on this site are not vetted for safety. Review the G-code in any profile before slicing with it. The site offers a "strip G-code on download" toggle for downloads where you don't need the embedded scripts.
5. No warranty
Provided as-is. If a profile damages your printer, your prints, or your day, that's on you. AGPL-3.0 disclaims all warranties.
6. Account conduct
Don't upload profiles you don't have the rights to redistribute under AGPL. Don't try to break the site. Don't scrape the API at a rate that disrupts other users. The operator may delete or restrict accounts that do these things.
